The ACEC-SC Infrastructure Works Institute is proud to announce the release of its study, The Economic Impact of Infrastructure Investments in South Carolina: 2026 Edition, conducted in partnership with the University of South Carolina’s Darla Moore School of Business.

Building on the inaugural study, the 2026 Edition expands its analysis of the short- and long-term economic impacts of major infrastructure funding initiatives, including the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA). This year’s report also includes the South Carolina Office of Resilience as a new agency partner and new county-level transportation investment data from Charleston and Dorchester Counties.
